Rodents

Rodents are also highly reproductive. A female rodent can become pregnant at just six weeks old. Once the litter has been born, the female rodent can become pregnant again right away. And of course, the female rodents in the litter can also become pregnant in just six weeks, creating a never-ending cycle of reproduced pests, and an incredible infestation.

Rodents are not limited to just mice and rats. Other rodents that find their way into your home include chipmunks, and squirrels. The most common area of your home to accommodate squirrels is the attic. Squirrels are attracted to attic spaces because the attic provides safe refuge and warm temperatures. Attics also offer a place for these squirrels to mate, making your attic the residence for future litters.

If you find you are sharing your home with rodents, these pests have likely caused damage to your house during their stay. Rodents get their name from the Latin verb “rodere,” which means, “to gnaw.” These animals can chew through most household materials, such as drywall, lumber, electrical wires, and insulation. Chewing through electrical wires can cause substantial damage to your home, as rodents make up approximately 20% of house fires each year.

So how do you keep your home from becoming the next breeding ground for these diseased pests? Invest in quality preventive treatment! At US Best Pest Control, we can eliminate these rodents and prevent their return. If you find yourself the victim of an unwanted house guest (or house pest), call us immediately, and we will schedule an initial service inspection plan. You can choose a plan that fits your budget and schedule.

Our service treatments are children and pet-friendly. We leave no stone unturned, pulling out all appliances and treating those hidden areas where pests like to hide. For preventive treatments, we thoroughly inspect your property to find and seal all possible entry points into the home. Rats can squeeze into a space the size of a quarter and mice the size of a dime. Sealing these entry points will prevent these pests from gaining access to your home. Once sealed, we go to work on eliminating the creatures that are now trapped inside.

Don’t wait until you have seen a rodent to call us at US Best Pest Control. Scheduling an inspection and treatment plan with us will ensure that you and your family are the only occupants living inside your home.
